Payment policy
Bookings are guaranteed by paying at least 50% of the total cost of the stay, up until 15 days before the check-in date. Proof of payment needs to be confirmed by email to hello@casasoenga.com.
Lack of payment will cancel the booking.
The remaining value will be charged, either by money or bank transfer (with proof of payment) at check-in.
Cancelation policy
- Up until 14 days before the check-in date, the amount payed will be reimbursed.
- Between 7 and 14 days before the check-in date, 50% of the total cost of the stay will be reimbursed.
- In any other case, no reimbursement will be allowed.
- No-shows will be charged according to the established rates for the respective dates.
- Any guest is allowed to interrupt their stay, without reimbursement of the remaining days of their original booking.
Terms and conditions
1 – Terms and conditions
The terms and conditions stipend on this document refer to the relation between the potencial guest and Casa Soenga as a property, from the time the guest requests bookings, until the end of their stay.
All other situation not mentioned by this document will be treated by the Portuguese legislation.
2 – Booking policies
All bookings can be made by telephone, e-mail, our webpage, our instagram page and other booking platforms.
All booking are subjected to availability.
3 – Check-in and check-out
Casa Soenga’s check-in time is between 16h00 and 19h00.
At check-in guests have to identify themselves with their respective legal documents.
At check-out guests have to guaranty that the house was vacated of people and their belongings and that no damage was made to the property and its house, at the latest by 10h00.
Different check-in and check-out schedules needs to be requested, upon availability.
In case guests do not vacate the property by 10h00, on the check-out day, another night will be charged at the current rate. Guests can only use that extra charged day, upon availability.
Casa Soenga does not have a reception service. We ask our guest to mention their time of arrival.
At check-in a set of keys will be lent to the guest, containing four keys, one for each of the two property gates, as well as, one for each of the two entrances of the house.
4 – Using terms
Only the guests mentioned on the booking may use the property. For other invitees, only temporary stay is available, upon request.
All users of the property must guarantee its appropriate use, with care and consideration.
The property and its equipments must be used adequately and left clean and in good state of order.
All damages and theft connected to the guests will be charged, considering the total amount of damage incurred.
Kids under 14 must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Casa Soenga is not responsible for any missing belongings of the guests.
The guest must always guarantee that all property accesses are closed.
In case of emergency, guests should call the available numbers in the house.
5 – Parking
Casa Soenga offers private parking up til three cars.
6 – Animals
One small pet is allowed per stay, upon request. All damage resulting from the pet’s stay will be charged according to the damage incurred.
7 – Noise
Excessive noises might disturb the neighbors. We ask you to be responsible.
8 – Parties and events
No party or event is allowed at Casa Soenga.
9 – Access to the property by Casa Soenga team
Casa Soenga team as the right to go inside the property, during the guests stay, in order to clean or maintain it.
10 – Price
The price payed by the guest is the legal binding to use Casa Soenga, between check-in and check-out dates.
The prices will be charged by the night.
The prices are agreed at the moment of booking, referent to the chosen dates of the guest’s stay.
Legal taxes are not included in the prices, unless the contrary is mentioned.
11 – Payment conditions
To guarantee their booking, guests have to pay at least 50% of the total cost of their stay 14 days before check-in. Otherwise their booking won’t be accepted/guaranteed.
At check-in, the remaining balance will be charged by money or bank transfer (with proof of transfer). Otherwise, their stay will be denied, until the balance is regularized.
12 – Complaints
The house has a legal complaints book.
Any complaints must be directed to the management.
13 – Casa Soenga’s responsability
Casa Soenga guarantees good hygiene,cleaning and safety conditions.
Casa Soenga won’t be responsible for any missing belongings from the guests.
Casa Soenga is not responsible for any payment data lost.
Casa Soenga won’t be responsible for any delay or inability in guaranteeing the guest’s stay in case of strike, blockages, natural disasters or any incident occurred in the property or its surroundings.
14 – Duty in notifying
In case of theft, damage, fire or flooding within the property, the guests have the duty to inform Casa Soenga’s management team immediately and assist in the resolution of the occurring problem.
15 – End of stay
Casa Soenga has the right the terminate or deny any guest’s stay if the later do not pay or do not behave according to the rules.
16 – Data protection
All guest’s and its invitees (if applicable) data will be stored by Casa Soenga and its service providers, according to the Portuguese law.
17 – General terms
The terms and conditions regulate the guest’s stay and their usage of Casa Soenga.
In case of one or more conditions that are not applicable, still grants validity to the remaining ones.
Any conditions not applicable to a specific case will be substituted by a valid condition, according to the comercial and legal intention of both parts, if not contemplated by the Portuguese law.
